Senior Well Planner
Under limited supervision, provides job design including well plans and
proposals, well support, maintenance of directional drilling database,
and preparation of post job analysis for customers in designated area.
Develops and maintains personal relationships with the technical
customer base. Provides technical support on location and/or customer's
office as required by the customer or PSL. Consults with customers to
determine their specific needs. Offers advice on equipment capabilities
and advises field personnel on technical complexity of job; develops
solutions to technical problems as required. Develops new ideas,
concepts, and applications for Company products and services. At this
level, assignments require sufficient professional experience to assure
competence as a fully trained professional. Must be able to work
independently with little supervision. Skills typically acquired through
completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent
industry experience. Typical incumbents have a minimum of 3 years
experience, with average experience ranging from 3-5 years.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have experience using
Compass software and industry-related experience (Torque & Drag).
